I actually really enjoyed it despite being during COVID.
I was able to learn more about the topics I am interested and most importantly do practicals and hands on experience which was really useful for me!
I also got the chance to do a year in industry, which was highly useful. for my professional career

Good – loved it. I wasn’t ready to work and wanted to continue studying. I made so many friends and joined so many societies. I got the opportunity to do a placement with GSK too. Exams were a bit stressful but I enjoyed learning and practicals.
I really enjoyed my university experience. I studied Geophysics and got to go to a lot of places to study Earth – I went to Devon, Spain, Cyprus and Grand Canyon in the US! I did lots of outreach work at uni, societies (sports, drama and social ones like sci-fi and fantasy club). I did summer research projects that were funded through uni, but also an internship at a company to see how I liked both environments. Ended up pursuing a PhD after my undergrad and I absolutely adored my topic and the opportunities it gave me. Definitely recommend the experience! You’ll meet lots of cool people and those friendships can last a lifetime.
