The project aims at investigating possible atmospheric reactions between oxidants and bioaerosols to assess the potential chemical modification of the protein allergens which might be responsible to increased allergenic potential of some of the allergenic pollen species. Air pollutants could enhance the allergenic potential via chemical modifications involving reactive oxygen species intermediates.

My Typical Day:
My research is lab-based work. I start the day with an hour of workout and meditation to keep myself well-paced throughout the experimental work in the day. Apart from the lab work, my PhD work involves analysing the data regularly to plan the next actions.
