I am a Traffic and Road Safety Engineer. My job involves looking at parts of roads where people may have collisions and trying to stop this happening. I also work to make more footways and cycle paths so that people can get out and about, without having to use cars.

My Typical Day:
I wake up and help my boys get ready for school. When they are at school I progress the work schemes that my team are working on. Sometimes I will go for a run at lunchtime and then spent my afternoon working on my own projects. I will pick up my boys from school and take them to clubs in the early evening.

What I'd do with the prize money:
I would use the money to create a resource pack about the work that happens in my office. I would create a STEM activity that involves planning a city so that children must plan where houses go, how they are connected to the city, what other facilities people who live there would need, how people travel to work and school etc.
