      I live in Cambridge with my wife who is working at Cambridge University. My daughter is a doctor in Aberdeen and my son is finishing his electronics engineering at the University of Southampton.  I am the founder and mentor of Cambridge Electronics and Robotics Academy and run several online courses for 7-14 years students. I am an active STEM ambassador.

      I work as Principal Engineer involved in making a new machine that can artificially create DNAs, the basic structure that stores intelligence.

    • My Typical Day:

      I get up at 5am and go for a morning walk. I do Yoga and exercise for 45min. After having breakfast, I study for an hour before I get to start working for my office from 9am. I take break every 30mins to be away from the computer.
      In the evening after my work, I engage with students teaching them Robotics and Electronics.
      I have dinner at 6pm and then go to bed by 10.30pm.

      I work in design and development of electronics circuits. I extensively use paper and pencil for designing my circuits. I use Python programming language for mathematical analysis. I have to use computer for all my work for designing chips.

      I work in the electronics lab where I test my circuits with lots of equipment, soldering iron, cables and also interact with lots of other engineers and scientist.

      We work in multi-disciplinary office where we have Physicist, Biologist, Chemists, Engineers and Bio- informatics experts.

       

    • What I'd do with the prize money:

      I will use the prize money to buy lots of components for running my Electronics and Robotics Club and for my students to make lots of interesting STEM projects.
