      I’ll answer your second question first. Yes, I consider my job well paid. Looking at government figures my pay is in the top 3% of all incomes in the UK. I don’t know the answer for your first question however. Pay is likely to depend on which maths job you go into. Overall though I suspect that yes, maths jobs are usually high paying.
