• Question: What is good about being a rocket scientist and how fun was it?

      If you like maths and computing then it was great. To be able to use both these disciplines on one project was fascinating. Bear in mind when I did it in the 1960s computers would be the size of a room. Mathematical tools were slide-rules, mechanical calculators and log tables!
